Tornado Warning for Southeastern Harris County
What is the danger?
The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for southeastern Harris County until 5:15 p.m. Strong winds in excess of 60 mph are possible. Roof, siding and tree damage are possible. Harris County is also under an Areal Flood Advisory. Residents in affected area should seek shelter immediately.

What you should do:
SEEK SHELTER
- Move to the lowest floor of your home/building and go to an interior room.
STAY HOME
- If you must drive, stay safe:
- NEVER drive into flooded roadways.
- Have lights and wipers on.
- Allow extra braking distance and more time for your commute.
SECURE YOUR HOME
- Bring pets inside.
- Move your vehicle under cover, if possible.
- Secure loose objects in your yard.
- Have a flashlight, NOAA Weather Radio and extra batteries in case you lose power.
