What is the danger?
According to the National Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms will bring heavy rain throughout the region starting this afternoon through Monday morning. Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour will occur in some areas. Large rainfall totals over a short period may cause street flooding and flash flooding.
