Potential for Heavy Rainfall Through the Weekend

The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting heavy rainfall for our area this weekend. Rainfall totals of one to four inches with higher amounts in isolated areas are possible. Heavy rainfall from slow-moving thunderstorms will be our biggest concern with this weather system, but a brief tornado, hail and damaging winds are possible. Prolonged periods of heavy rain could cause street flooding. This may affect driving conditions in some areas. Please use caution.
