Tropical Storm Kirk Forms
Tropical Storm Kirk has formed in the Atlantic. Kirk is anticipated to move northwest but remain in the Atlantic over the coming days. The Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management (HCOHSEM) will continue to monitor the course of Kirk. At this time, Kirk poses no threat to Texas.
Now is the time to check your emergency kits and review your emergency plans. Hurricane season runs through November 30th. Stay informed by following HCOHSEM updates on www.ReadyHarris.org, on social media, and by signing up for Ready Harris Alerts or Ready Harris Accessible Alerts.
