METRO to Modify Park & Ride, Other Service Tuesday as Storm Recovery Continues

METRO will offer modified service Tuesday as storm recovery efforts continue across the region.

Here are the service adjustments customers should expect:

  • Park & Ride: Only service to the Texas Medical Center will be provided. All other Park & Ride service will remain suspended.
  • Local Bus: will operate normal service.
  • METRORail: Green and Purple lines will operate regular service. Red Line will operate regular service from Burnett Transit Center to Fannin South Transit Center. Due to an area power outage, bus shuttles will continue to be provided from Burnett Transit Center to Northline Transit Center for as long as necessary. Get the latest METRORail update here.
  • HOV/HOT Lanes: U.S. 290 HOV/HOT lane will remain closed Tuesday. All other METRO-operated express lanes will be open with the exception of the I-45 North Freeway Crosstimbers ramp.
  • METROLift and curb2curb: will operate normal service.

Please continue to allow for extra travel time due to signal outages.

Thank you for your patience as our community recovers from last week's severe weather. The Authority has diverted some of its resources to provide transportation to the crews who are working to restore electricity across the Houston region.
